The teacher will prepare lesson plans, organize art exhibitions, and curate classroom displays that showcase student work.
Daily classroom management will involve setting up workstations, ensuring safety protocols for materials, and maintaining an inspiring learning space. The teacher will assess student progress through projects, portfolios, and informal evaluations, providing constructive feedback to foster growth.
Collaboration with colleagues across departments is essential to integrate art projects with science, literature, and social studies, creating interdisciplinary learning experiences. Participation in school events such as art fairs, cultural festivals, and community outreach programs is expected.
The role requires meticulous record‑keeping of supplies, student attendance, and progress reports. The teacher will also mentor junior staff and student art clubs, encouraging participation and skill development. Regular communication with parents about student projects and achievements is a key responsibility.
In addition to instructional duties, the PRT Art And Craft Teacher will contribute to curriculum development, suggest resource acquisitions, and stay updated on contemporary art education trends. Qualification and experience
Candidates must hold a graduate degree and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory. A minimum of 2 years experience in art education is required. Demonstrated ability to create innovative art programs and engage diverse learners is essential.
