TGT Geography Teacher – Narayana Educational Institute, Udaipur, Rajasthan
The position is for a full‑time TGT Geography Teacher at Narayana Educational Institute, located in Udaipur, Rajasthan. You will be responsible for delivering the Geography curriculum to secondary classes, preparing students for board examinations and fostering an appreciation for the subject.
In this role you will plan and conduct daily lessons, create engaging classroom activities and use maps, charts and digital tools to illustrate physical and human geography concepts. Assessment of student work, providing feedback and maintaining records of progress are part of the routine. You will also collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects and support school events related to environmental awareness.
The school expects you to cover the UGC‑approved syllabus, conduct practical sessions such as field trips and map work, and develop supplementary material that aligns with the state education board standards. Regular participation in staff meetings, parent‑teacher interactions and continuous professional development is also required.
Candidates should hold a postgraduate degree in Geography or a related discipline, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, it is considered an advantage. A minimum of two years of teaching experience at the secondary level is essential, and you should be comfortable handling classes of diverse abilities.
