Qualification
The candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in Education, Management or a related field along with a recognized B.Ed or D.El.Ed. A minimum of four years’ experience in school administration or senior leadership positions is essential. Preference will be given to those who have successfully completed TET/CTET or possess equivalent competency certifications. Strong knowledge of the Tamilnadu education regulations and school accreditation processes is required.
Responsibilities
As the Principal of Manchester International School | Tamilnadu, you will provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the campus located in Coimbatore North. You will oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring smooth functioning of academic, co‑curricular and administrative activities while maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment.
You will formulate and implement school policies, manage budgets, and supervise support staff, ensuring optimal resource utilization. Monitoring student performance, coordinating with department heads, and driving continuous improvement initiatives will be part of your core duties.
Building strong relationships with parents, the local community and education authorities is crucial. You will represent the school at forums, handle admissions and public relations, and foster a culture of excellence and inclusivity.
The role involves preparing comprehensive reports for the board, conducting regular audits, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. You will lead professional development programs for staff, promote innovative practices, and nurture a collaborative atmosphere that aligns with the school’s vision.
Salary
The compensation package is Rs.90,000 – Rs.120,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
