Physics (PGT) Vacancy in Tiruchengode, Namakkal, Tamilnadu
ROYAL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
Job Description
Role Summary
Royal International School Tamil Nadu is expanding its science department with a Physics Teacher Job in Namakkal for a Post Graduate Teacher position. The school integrates real-time data loggers, Arduino-based experiments, and cloud-based lab simulations to make abstract concepts tangible for students in Tiruchengode and surrounding areas.
Teaching Approach
Daily lessons combine smart board demonstrations, Google Classroom assignments, and a school-wide LMS for flipped classrooms. Blended learning modules use PhET simulations and virtual labs so students visualize projectile motion and electromagnetic fields before touching equipment. Assignments are auto-graded to give instant feedback, allowing more time for problem-solving discussions.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver 9–10 periods weekly covering Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Optics, and Modern Physics to Classes 11–12.
Develop and upload 40+ digital lesson packages each term with embedded videos, quizzes, and lab manuals on the LMS.
Conduct two virtual lab sessions every month using PhET Colorado and Labster subscriptions for remote access.
Organize monthly Physics fairs in Tiruchengode where students present Arduino-based projects to parents and peers.
Train students to operate Vernier sensors and data loggers for accurate graph plotting in practical exams.
Collaborate with the IT team to maintain 30+ smart boards and keep Google Classroom updated with term-wise content.
Supervise the Physics club that builds working models for inter-school competitions across Namakkal.
Prepare students for NEET and JEE Main through weekend practice tests and doubt-clearing sessions.
Who Can Apply
Post graduates in Physics with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree can apply for the Physics Teacher Vacancy in Namakkal. Four years of classroom teaching in Grades 11–12 under CBSE or state curriculum is required.
What Makes You a Fit
Fluency with digital tools—smart boards, Google Classroom, Moodle, and online assessment platforms—is essential. Experience running blended lessons or flipped classrooms gives you an edge for the Physics Teaching Job in Tamilnadu. Familiarity with Arduino, Vernier interfaces, and cloud-based simulations will help you integrate technology smoothly.
