TGT English Teacher – Treasure Iland International School, Shenkottai, Tenkasi, Tamilnadu
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for classes IX and X, aligning with the state curriculum and school’s pedagogic standards. Assess student progress through tests, projects and oral activities, providing constructive feedback and remedial support where needed. Participate in co‑curricular events, parent‑teacher meetings and staff development programmes to foster a holistic learning environment.
Required Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum two years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably handling senior secondary English. TET/CTET certification is desirable but not mandatory. Strong command of English language, both written and spoken, and ability to use ICT tools for classroom instruction.
Experience & Skills
Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse classroom and inspire interest in literature, grammar and communication skills. Effective classroom management techniques, good interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude towards fellow teachers and administrators.
Salary & Benefits
Monthly remuneration ranging from Rs.22,000 to Rs.35,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The school offers statutory benefits, professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
