Create and mark assignments, unit tests, and model papers to track progress without overloading students.
Organize inter-house literary events such as elocution, essay writing, and quiz competitions each term.
Collaborate with subject teachers to align English curriculum with school-wide academic goals.
Provide remedial support to students struggling with comprehension or writing skills during designated hours.
Keep parents informed about student progress through periodic feedback sessions or notes.
Participate in school assemblies, cultural programs, and parent-teacher meetings as needed.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in English with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.
B.Ed degree in English or equivalent from a NCTE-recognized institution.
Minimum 3 years of full-time teaching experience in Classes 11 and 12.
Familiarity with Tamilnadu State Board and CBSE English syllabi is preferred.
