Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a structured Music curriculum aligned with primary learning outcomes. Create engaging lesson plans using activities like rhythm exercises, singing sessions, and instrument demonstrations.
Conduct regular assessments through worksheets, quizzes, and practical evaluations to monitor student progress. Provide timely feedback to parents during PTMs and address individual learning needs.
Mentor junior PRT Music Teachers at Narayana E-techno School through classroom observations and feedback sessions. Organize school music competitions, annual day performances, and inter-house events to showcase student talent.
Collaborate with subject teachers to integrate music with themes taught in other subjects. Maintain records of student participation, achievements, and attendance in music classes.
Ensure all music activities comply with safety guidelines, especially when handling instruments. Support the school’s vision by participating in staff meetings, training programs, and academic discussions.
Track board exam trends in music-related assessments and align classroom strategies accordingly. Prepare students for inter-school music festivals and cultural programs.
Eligibility
Postgraduate degree in Music with a minimum of five years of teaching experience in primary grades. B.Ed is mandatory; preference given to candidates with NET or SET qualification.
Prior experience in a CBSE or ICSE-affiliated school is preferred. Familiarity with Telangana state syllabus and regional music traditions will be an advantage.
