Narayana E-techno School in Tirumalagiri, Hyderabad, Telangana, invites applications for a senior PRT Music Teacher or potential Head of Department position. This role offers an opportunity to lead the Music department, mentoring junior staff and taking ownership of the curriculum. Key Responsibilities
As the senior Music department role at Narayana E-techno School, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing the Music curriculum for primary sections (1st to 5th)
- Mentoring junior Music teachers to enhance their teaching skills
- Conducting workshops and training sessions for teachers and students on Music appreciation and skills
- Preparing and conducting Music competitions and events for students
- Maintaining a well-equipped Music room and managing Music resources
- Collaborating with other departments to integrate Music into the overall curriculum
- Analyzing and improving Music board results
- Communicating with parents about Music-related activities and progress
- Participating in school events and activities as a Music representative
- Developing and implementing Music-related projects and initiatives
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must have:
- A graduate degree in Music or its equivalent
- A B.Ed degree and a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience
- NET or SET certification is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong knowledge of Music theory, history, and practical skills
- Experience in teaching primary students and developing innovative Music lessons
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
