Job Description
Key Performance Indicators and Outcomes:
- Achieve 100% student participation in music activities within first month
- Improve student music assessment scores by 15% in first academic quarter
- Organize and conduct at least 2 school music performances per term
- Maintain 95% attendance record for scheduled music classes
Desired Competencies:
- Strong vocal and instrumental skills (at least one instrument proficiency required)
- Ability to engage students aged 12-16 in creative music learning
- Classroom management skills with proven ability to handle adolescent students
- Lesson planning and curriculum development capabilities
- Basic knowledge of music theory and history
- Tech-savviness for digital music resources and online teaching tools
Campus Facilities:
- Well-equipped music room with instruments (keyboard, guitars, percussion)

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons aligned with CBSE/State Board curriculum
- Teach vocal music, instrumental music, and music theory to grades 6-10
- Organize and conduct school choir, band, and other music ensembles
- Prepare students for inter-school music competitions and festivals
- Collaborate with other subject teachers for interdisciplinary projects
- Maintain student records, attendance, and assessment data
- Organize annual school music festival and other cultural events
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events
- Maintain inventory of musical instruments and equipment
- Implement school's music curriculum with innovative teaching methods
