What You Will Do
Oversee the Music curriculum from Grades 6 to 10, aligning lessons with CBSE standards and Narayana E-techno School’s academic vision. Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cover vocal training, instrumental basics, music theory, and cultural appreciation. Introduce practical assessments, quarterly recitals, and inter-house competitions to reinforce learning and boost student participation.
Mentor junior music teachers, conduct demonstration classes, and provide constructive feedback to improve teaching quality across the department. Collaborate with subject coordinators to integrate music with other disciplines like social studies and languages for thematic learning experiences. Track student progress through periodic assessments and design remedial plans for learners who need extra support.
Prepare students for state-level and national music competitions, ensuring representation in events like the Telangana State Cultural Festival. Organise annual school concerts, annual day performances, and parent showcase events to highlight student achievements. Work closely with the academic coordinator to maintain records, analyse performance trends, and report progress to school leadership.
Who Can Apply
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Music (M.A. or M.Sc) with a B.Ed from a recognised university. Minimum 5 years of full-time teaching experience in Music at the secondary level is required. Preference will be given to those who have cleared NET or SET in Music. Experience in CBSE schools or large educational institutions in Telangana will be advantageous.
