Monitor student progress during class and provide immediate feedback. Prepare and distribute study materials, notes, and assignments in a structured manner.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update lesson plans that integrate modern teaching methods and real-world applications of physics. Collaborate with the physics department to organize workshops, competitions, or guest lectures on advanced topics. Assess student performance through quizzes, projects, and periodic tests, documenting results accurately. Maintain a clean, organized lab space and ensure all safety protocols are followed during practical sessions.
Periodic Responsibilities
Participate in school-wide curriculum reviews and suggest improvements based on student feedback and performance trends. Attend department meetings to discuss teaching strategies, resource allocation, and alignment with school policies. Ensure compliance with state education board guidelines and regularly update teaching resources to reflect current scientific advancements.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Physics with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Four years of teaching experience in Physics at the secondary or higher secondary level is mandatory. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, a valid teaching certificate significantly enhances eligibility. Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a passion for physics education are essential.
