Kanha Makhan Public School, Jaigurudev Campus, has been a familiar name on the lanes of Mathura for as long as many of us can remember. Though the buildings are relatively new, the school grew out of a desire that has long lived in the town—to give every child a place where learning feels like a continuation of the community’s own story. The school’s doors opened under the banner of the Kanha Makhan Group of Schools, and over the years families from every corner of Mathura, from the bustling markets near the Kesi Ghat to the quieter lanes of Jaigurudev, have trusted us with their children’s education.

Our values are simple and rooted in the everyday life of Mathura. We hold honesty, respect for tradition, and a curiosity for the world in equal regard. Under the steady guidance of Principal Mr. Natwar Chaudhary, the curriculum follows the CBSE framework but is enriched with moral lessons drawn from the city’s cultural heritage. Classrooms are equipped with digital tools, yet the teacher’s voice remains the heart of every lesson, encouraging students to question, experiment, and connect what they read to the streets and stories around them. Whether a child is in the foundation block or preparing for senior secondary examinations in Science, Commerce, or Humanities, the aim is to nurture both intellect and character.

A day at Kanha Makhan feels like a blend of study, sport, and celebration. Mornings begin with a brief gathering where the school hymn is sung, followed by lessons that move from chalkboards to interactive screens without losing the personal touch of a teacher’s encouragement.
