Billabong High International School Vadodra is seeking a dedicated Transport Incharge to ensure smooth and safe school transport operations. This is a Transport Incharge Position in Vadodara, Gujarat for a full-time role, responsible for overseeing daily school transport logistics.
Manage the daily operations of the school bus fleet, including scheduling, driver assignments, and route planning for students. Ensure all vehicles meet safety and maintenance standards to prevent delays or accidents. Work closely with school administration to resolve transport-related issues promptly and efficiently.
Coordinate with local transport authorities to obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with Gujarat’s road safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, driver licenses, and student attendance logs for audits. Train and supervise bus drivers on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Collaborate with parents and staff to address concerns regarding transport delays or incidents, maintaining transparency and professionalism. Plan seasonal adjustments for holidays or special events, such as school trips or festivals, to accommodate all students seamlessly.
A graduate with at least two years of relevant experience in school transport or logistics is required. Familiarity with local transport laws and experience managing a fleet of vehicles is a must.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Excellent communication skills in Gujarati and English are necessary to interact with students, parents, and staff effectively.
