Core Duties – Teaching and Curriculum
Develop and deliver age-appropriate chemistry lessons for Class 9 to 12 students, ensuring alignment with CBSE and state board syllabi. Conduct interactive experiments and demonstrations to enhance understanding of chemical principles, including periodic trends, reactions, and environmental chemistry. Maintain detailed lesson notes and assessment records to track student progress and identify learning gaps.
Core Duties – Classroom Management
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and explore chemistry concepts independently. Adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles, including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic approaches. Collaborate with fellow science teachers to integrate chemistry across interdisciplinary projects, such as sustainability initiatives or science fairs.
Core Duties – Assessment and Engagement
Design and administer regular assessments, including quizzes, projects, and practical exams, to evaluate students’ grasp of core chemistry topics. Encourage participation in school science clubs, competitions, and outreach programs to inspire a passion for STEM. Stay updated on emerging trends in chemistry education and suggest improvements to the school’s curriculum.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate degree in Chemistry from a recognized university. Possess a TET/CTET certificate as a preference, though not mandatory. Minimum 4 years of teaching experience, preferably in high school or equivalent settings. Strong command of English and Hindi is essential, with fluency in both languages required for classroom communication.
Compensation and Location
The selected candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary of Rs.25,000 to Rs.35,000, along with benefits such as transportation allowances and access to professional development opportunities.
