PRT Music Teacher Job in Nirsa, Dhanbad
Teach music to students in Sgd Modern School’s primary section, covering foundational instruments like the tabla, harmonium, or voice. Ensure age-appropriate learning through structured lessons, group activities, and simple compositions. Develop students’ rhythmic and melodic skills while maintaining classroom discipline.
Ensure all teaching aligns with CBSE curriculum guidelines for music education. Prepare and deliver engaging lessons, including practical demonstrations and basic theory explanations. Assist in organizing school events where music plays a role, such as festivals or cultural programs.
Hold regular parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress in music. Maintain organized lesson plans, record attendance, and ensure compliance with school policies. Work collaboratively with other teachers to integrate music into broader educational activities.
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a graduate degree. Experience teaching music to children for at least three years is mandatory. Possession of TET or CTET is preferred but not mandatory. Must be familiar with basic music theory and instruments.
