Design and deliver age-appropriate PE lessons covering athletics, gymnastics, swimming, and outdoor games. Collaborate with the school’s sports committee to organize inter-house competitions, tournaments, and health awareness workshops. Maintain equipment inventory and ensure proper storage, repair, and availability for classes.
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field, with a postgraduate qualification in Physical Education or Sports Science preferred. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory for teaching roles at Global City International School. Prior teaching experience in schools is essential, with at least two years in Physical Education or related subjects.
Experience in sports coaching, fitness training, or school-based PE programs is highly valued. Familiarity with Karnataka’s school sports policies and local sports infrastructure will be advantageous. The role requires strong communication skills to engage students, parents, and school management effectively.
Based in Bengaluru Urban, this full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 44,000 per month.
