Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the academic team to integrate physical education into the broader school curriculum. Develop unit plans, assessment frameworks, and extracurricular programs that encourage lifelong health habits.
Facility Management: Maintain and improve school sports infrastructure, including fields, gymnasiums, and equipment. Work with maintenance staff to ensure facilities are safe and functional for all activities.
Community Engagement: Represent the school in local sports initiatives, community events, and partnerships with fitness organizations. Promote physical education as a key part of youth development in rural Bengaluru.
Qualification and Experience
A postgraduate degree in Physical Education, Physical Training, or a related field is mandatory. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is essential for teaching roles at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra. Prior teaching experience in Physical Education for at least three years is required, preferably in a school setting.
While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this role, it is highly preferred. Experience in motivating students through sports and fitness programs will be an asset. Knowledge of local sports regulations and safety standards is beneficial.
Compensation and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a competitive monthly salary of Rs.40,000 to Rs.65,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
