PGT Physical Education Teacher Position at Rajeshwari National School in Karkala, Udupi
Rajeshwari National School invites experienced educators to join its faculty as a PGT in Physical Education for the Karkala campus. This role focuses on designing and implementing engaging sports programs, ensuring students develop physical fitness, teamwork, and discipline through structured activities.
Plan and conduct daily physical education classes, covering sports like cricket, basketball, and athletics, tailored to students’ age groups. Develop and update curriculum materials, including lesson plans, drills, and training schedules, to align with school standards and national education frameworks.
Instruct students in fundamental sports techniques, safety protocols, and competitive play while fostering a culture of sportsmanship and healthy competition. Collaborate with school administration to organize inter-house and inter-school sports events, ensuring smooth logistics and participant engagement.
Maintain records of student progress, participation, and achievements in physical activities. Advise parents on their children’s physical development and recommend extracurricular sports programs as needed.
Hold a postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of relevant teaching experience in Physical Education is mandatory. The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.40,000 to Rs.70,000 per month, with the role based in Karkala, Udupi, Karnataka.
