PRT Dance Teacher Job in St. Xavier High School, Keonjhar Sadar, Kendujhar
Teach fundamental and advanced dance forms to students in a structured school environment. Develop and implement age-appropriate dance curricula that align with educational goals while fostering creativity and physical coordination.
Plan and conduct daily dance classes, ensuring students learn proper techniques, posture, and rhythm. Incorporate cultural dances, classical styles, and modern movements to make lessons engaging and diverse.
Assist in organizing school events, competitions, and cultural programs featuring dance performances. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate dance activities into broader school activities and extracurricular events.
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning space for all students. Use visual aids, music, and storytelling to enhance dance lessons and keep students motivated.
Prepare and submit regular progress reports on student performance and participation in dance activities.
Ensure compliance with school policies and guidelines regarding student safety, discipline, and academic standards.
Teach dance classes with enthusiasm and patience, adapting methods to suit different learning abilities. Demonstrate professionalism in handling students and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from a recognized institution. Possess a graduate degree in any discipline.
Experience
Minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in dance or related subjects. Familiarity with school-based dance programs is a plus.
Salary
Attractive monthly salary of Rs.14,000 to Rs.25,000, depending on qualifications and performance.
Location
Based in Keonjhar Sadar, Kendujhar, Odisha, with occasional travel required for school events and competitions.
