TGT Social Science Teacher – Patiala
Responsibilities
Conduct classroom teaching of Social Science for classes IX and X, preparing lesson plans aligned with the state curriculum. Evaluate student performance through periodic tests, projects and oral presentations, and maintain accurate records. Coordinate with the Humanities department for interdisciplinary activities and assist in organizing cultural events that reflect Punjab’s heritage. Communicate progress and concerns to parents during meetings or via school portals as needed.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate qualification with B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory. Candidates should have at least 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting. TET/CTET qualification is preferred. Knowledge of the Punjab School Education Board syllabus and ability to integrate local history and geography into lessons are essential.
Salary
Rs.20,000 - Rs.35,000 per month, payable as per school policy.
